November 05, 2007 -- Timely Medical Innovations, LLC (TMI), a global provider of personal protection products for infection control, including its market-leading Resposables™ for eye and face protection, announces its participation at the MEDICA 2007 World Forum for Medicine and International Trade in Dusseldorf, Germany, November 14-17, 2007. MEDICA will be attended by over 136,000 visitors and is considered the premier medical event for viewing the world’s latest innovations in medical products and technologies.
“Our infection control products are used by healthcare providers worldwide to help protect against blood-borne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM),” says Michael Grad, President and CEO of TMI. “Participation at MEDICA will enable us to expose our product line to a larger global medical market. Building upon the proven success of our products, we expect to expand our international distribution channel through MEDICA.”
TMI's continuous focus on innovative product design has yielded many product patents over the years, the most recent of which is for Resposables™. This line includes products for eye protection (EyeShield™) and face protection (FaceShield™ and ShortShield™), and has a unique, modular design consisting of reusable frames and disposable, optical-grade lenses. Resposables™ are lightweight, comfortable, latex-free and available in 10 designer colors, making them practical and stylish. The component frames and lenses are separately available to maximize cost-effective replenishment. Both products are CE certified for use in the European Union.
